Ok, I'd suggest
I Like You: Hospitality Under the Influence by Amy Sedaris.
The big hardcover copy is the best because the pictures make it 5,000 times better than the writing, but the new cheaper edition is good too.
Not only is it hilarious, it has good ideas!

In keeping with the eco / sustainability theme of books, "Made From Scratch" by Jenna Woginrich was absolutely fabulous. Anyone interested in reading a book on how you can live in the city but still manage to be self sustaining should check it out!
