Default Sew-Along: Basic Denim Pencil Case - 07-24-2008, 02:47 AM

I thought I'd pick something "back to school" related for the next sew-along.

I've put together both a video tutorial and a picture/slide tutorial for a Basic Denim Pencil Case that you can find here: http://forum.threadbanger.com/showthread.php?p=103910#post103910

Here's a picture of the one I created. I'd love to see what everyone else can put together.

Smile My pencil case - 07-25-2008, 03:25 AM

Thankyou so much for this tutorial!!!!! I loved making this!

HERE it is!

I made it a bit smaller.

I had some leftover cloth that i took the skull out of and sewed some lace aroud it. (that took a while!)

here is a detail pic!!!!

I wish the skull would have come out a bit higher....but i havn't sewn in about a year!!!!

This was fun & super easy.
I am going to use mine as a makeup bag.

Mine's a bit "innapropriate" to just throw up the picture, so I am linking you to the picture on my myspace. Please do not click if you get offended easily, or if you're a minor, I guess.

Anywho: http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/inde...mageID=5368265

If that link doesn't work, try this one: http://a728.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...a46c9f7bdf8037

For some reason I wasn't able to get either of the links to work. I'd really like to see your bag...

well, a project is first decided by the instigator of the sew-along. then, if you want to participate, you make your own variation of the stuff and post it.

I'm having my finals this week, so I guess I won't be making either a second hobobag or a pencil case before aug. 2nd
