striped pants.
bought plain white pants at goodwill. sewed 'em tighter & shorter. then painted stripes on them. they arent perfect, but then, i didnt really want them to be. i wanted them to look like they didnt come straight off the racks of hot topic. eff that.

Those pants are soo sick! I was planning on sewing some and I have been looking everywhere for the twill stretch fabric I like that makes them fit more like a stretch denim couldnt find it anywahere though. I had considered painting them but wasn't sure about it. I might do mine reverse we'll see. I think im going to definately do it now. I too hate hot topic so I like the like of diy look with the paint they had it's super punk and not at all commercial looking. Other idea is something i did with a pencil skirt and halter wiggle dress i made out of stretch excersise pants. I cut strips about 1.2 inches wide of a black stretch matte satin fabric and stitched them on the skirt with a cool top stich and then had stitched the edge down with a constrasting cream thread so they look super hand made and very punk with a fifties twist i'll have to take pictures when i can.
