When I was younger I went to summer art school. We tied dyed for a week, anything we wanted to make. So I went to hippie Fest this summer at the Mann Music Center for the performing arts in Philadelphia and needed a new tie dye shirt for mom, dad, and myself.

Nice! I've actually got some tie-dyed clothes sitting in the basement to set the dye right now.
Major props for your spirals, I cannot do spirals for the life of me. >.< Is there some kind of trick, or just practice?

they're so cool! a tutorial on getting these effects would be epic!
when you post a reply or start a thread, theres a little yellow image with a mountain and a sun on it, click that then input your image url when prompted.

I use flickr and easily post pics without linking them.
I am so sorry I can't see your pics, since I really like tie dyeing!

Not everyone has a facebook account, perhaps you should use flickr or photobucket?

Sorry to everyone who couldn't see these pictures before. Thank you for getting me onto flickr. It's so much nicer to post now. :) I'm going to be tie tying again hopefully within a month so I can take pictures and show everyone how to make spirals and other designs. To Luai_lashire, I pinched the center and spun the shirt tighly, folding in the extra shirt material to keep it tight. I was taught to stab it with a ruler and spin. Either way works awesome. Thank you for your complements. Again, sorry about not posting the pictures correctly. Hopefully I've redeemed myself. ;)
