That way if your account was hacked, the changed password may help you keep your current account.

Yes, cause we can't tell if someone's going to try to send a trojan horse or a similar bad program to your in-box.

I got a private message today and it has links, which the title said "Have you ever visited this site before?".
Gladly the links didn't work (no hyperlinks in them).

Yes, PLEASE change your passwords. If I get repeat complaints from someones account that is sending out spam (whether it is you or a hacker) I am going to temporarily ban the account.

Some people are getting viruses on their computers, so this is to protect the safety of others. Thanks for understanding.
