So I have a lot of ill fitting clothing and I recently transferred a lot of it to my scrap bin. I had this swimsuit cover/ shirt thing with one of those skirtish parts that goes over the hips or whatever. I bought it without remembering that horizontal stripes are my death. I cut the skirt off and made it an awesome bag.

The bag, can you tell what I'm talking about with the whole skirt thing?

Detail. The liner is made from an old Christmas thermal shirt and the handles are that shirts sleeves turned inside out. It has a pattern on it and I inadvertently made the bag sort of reversible ish.

See, the shirt. and my crap. I couldn't resist using it.

My favorite part! The shirt had this string thing in it and you can pull it tight like this. I love it!

The rest of the shirt I used. I'll make something else with it later

A little makeup bag because my makeup was really cluttering my purse. It's nothing special because I don't need it to be. It will get dirty anyway lol

I've asked permission to open a shop online and sell purses and etc. My dad actually said it was a good idea and that I could maybe do it. I need some money anyway. Makes me really excited!

I love how you used the pre-existing drawstrings to make the purse do up. I've gotta make a bag like that now, it'd be really useful.

You could use the fabric from the rest of the shirt to make a matching wallet. I don't know how you'd do it, but maybe take an old cloth wallet and just sew a lining of your fabric on the inside, or make one for the outside. Just an idea :] Or make a matching cell-phone case/bag thing.
