As the title suggests, my dad lost something in the basement while he was cleaning it. A couple of things actually. One thing being his keys, and the other being the bag with all the presser feet attachments to my sewing machine. I don't know what I'm going to do, they don't make my sewing machine anymore I don't think (I have a Euro-Pro 416) and I'm still waiting to get a job so I can buy a new sewing machine (Singer 16-stitch) or win the Janome contest (hopefully!). Is there any way for me to somehow get the presser feet online or in a store? Or am I stuck hand sewing my zippers until I get my Singer?

Have you checked ebay? Do a bit of internet searching, you should be able to find the parts you need.

I'm not old enough to have an ebay account, and my parents won't by anything for me because they won't fund my sewing habit unless I can pay them back, hich at the moment I can't. I don't think it matters because if push comes to shove I'll just take the mony out of my bank account to buy a new sewing machine.

Wait a second, your dad lost your feet and won't replace them because they won't fund your sewing habit unless you pay them back? Sounds like he should replace them for free! Just sayin'... sounds messed up.

He says he didn't lose them, but hey, i don't really care, because I will survive until i can afford my new sewing machine

Oh that sucks.
I think Amazon, or ebay would be the best thing, but I get that you can't use them. (I can't either)
Well its a good thing that your dad lost his keys if he won't get you any feet. (*Trying to be funny*)

Aren't presser feet for the most part universal? Like they'll work for all machines?
My best suggestion is to go to a local sewing shop or specific machine shop and ask about it. They'll know what you need to know.

You need to find out if you have a angled shank, short straight shank or , long straight shank. This is the part your foot attaches to. If you determine it is straight, then look at your zipper foot. If it screws on near the base, it is a long shank, if it screws in higher up it is a short shank. (if you have snap on, then look at foot attachment, it is considered part of the foot) I have seen specialty feet at Joanns and hancocks. You can also oder online once you determine what you need.

My kids lost my zigzag foot, so I was stuck using the zipper foot for awhile. I considered the embroidery foot, as I could use it for special features later, and as a zigzag now. As you probably guessed you can only straight stitch with a zipper foot. Thankfully, I found mine.

I suggest drugging your parents into a stupor, then hanging them from the ceiling by their toes and throwing cold water over them until they agree to replace either your presser feet or your whole sewing machine (you may as well ask for other stuff while you've got them there, like a pony or a holiday to disneyworld or something)

Is that a bit excessive? I don't think so...

I've been trying to get my parents to take me to Disneyworld and they did...but they took me to Epcot. I'm now trying for the actual Magic Kingdom, I want to see Mickey Mouse dammit!

Nancysnotions.com has feet that are compatible with your brand. They are fairly inexpensive, under $10.00. They have an 800 number and the customer service rep will advise you what products you can use with your machine. Good luck.
