i have a pretty big dilemma too, my sewing machine is crap but i'd really like a new one, but i could use a serger but all that thread is costly, and i could see myself doing a creative video tute but not aa plea... could i do both a plea and tute for a sewing machine??

ifrenchfry, you don't have to show yourself on the vid, I bet. Maybe a tutorial with a picture slideshow and some colorful graphics in Paint or something?

That way you won't shy up and wuss out on yourself. (I used to hate having people take pics of me, too.)

I have a good serger...but my machine is 70 years old and likes to electrocute people. I call it Ol' Shocky. And I don't have a camcorder to make a video or a tutorial....

Yes the dress is fab. And I too could use the serger but I won't do a video. I hate myself on film not to mention that I am clueless on editing.

I put my insomnia to good use last night and came up with a tutorial idea that might turn out pretty good... now I just have to learn to cut and edit video. Eek!
