Okay so some have heard of this. (If you read the one post I made :P.)
I'm going to be starting a big Non-Profit.


What I want our team to do is help the world. We'll use our DIY abilities to: Take many plastic bags and recycle them or maybe turn them into something reusable, and we'll design many bags and other stuff for others to buy. With the money, we'll give it to charity. Don't know which. Probably something for sicknesses.

We will also help people and animals that are harmed by this massive over load of plastic bags and garbage.



Okay, so. I need a name to set up this legal stuff. and like $200 for signing up for it to make it legal organization.

nolo.com is great place to go for legal information and have plenty of info on setting up a non-profit. I helped set up a non-profit with 160 members, so I've been through all that goes in to that.

Saint Judes
Relay for Life (aka. American Heart Association)
Big Brothers Big Sisters
Charity.org
Your local veterans charity
GoodWills (or any thrift store)
local orphanages
Breast Cancer Society
Unprivileged Children Society
this is all i could think of.

Maybe the name could be something like, "Giving Green"? Since you're giving stuff that helps the planet, thus the green...

I think this is a great idea! As for the name, I think you should use the one in your original post. "Charity of the Galactic Alliance for Cleaning up the Universe! GACU" That was awesome, and it would definitely get people's attention, it got mine.
