I want to give free totes...

im really worried about our planet

the other day i received an email...
it was about the plastic bags .. how dangerous they are

i was like......... damn!! we need to do somethin

and i was watchin the post of recycled bags and totes
and its pretty cool

so.....
i was thinkin of makin totes to give away to the people that goes to the groceries



you know .. simple but cool totes....




but... im a little shy.....

can anyone give me any advice or somthin

number 2 make a box full and design bags and charge 50 cents per bag for fabric than when you sell one box tell them next time buy one get one free than the next time its free just stand outside a local super market or sumething lol idk

Ok george here's what you need to do. Draft a friend to help. Things like that are easier with a buddy. It is kind of like working out. I am a demon in the gym if I have someone to work out with but on my own, I don't go.

I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN!! i was thinking on doing the same thing! well, first of all, of course need a friend (it doesnt help if he/she is shy too but do it anyways), then you can make flyers with information about plastic bags and how they are a NO to earth and give them away along with the toe. but dont be surprised if people just take the tote just because its free and you see them walkin out of the store with plastic bags. some people just dont have shame :( arghhhh its so irritating!! *cough cough* well, i think the most people you gather with you, the better.

Yea this would be a good project for like charity. Stand somewhere with a stand with a bunch of signs with info about the environment and how plastic bags make Earth make a ":(". Then sell them. Give it to charity or something. Charity of the Galactic Alliance for Cleaning up the Universe! GACU

Hm. I should invent that. HOLY CRAP! GOOD IDEA. THE GACU! We clean up the world by, cleaning and recycling, then we sell stuff that's helpful for stuff. THEN! We give money to charity!

That is a good idea! Set it up! and there are ppl on theadbanger all over the world, so you will already have like minded links around the globe! Awesome plan :)
Dead Like Me: I think I would charge something for the bag, even if it is only like 10p or something, because then the ppl buying them will have thought about why they are buying them so are more likely to use them.

OMG such a good idea! You should totally do it! And UGH, 501.c3 stuff is soooo annoying. My club is trying to get non-profit status though the national part of our club and it's taking forever :(

the design program at my school did that last winter. we made them at a conference we had about saving the planet. we set up machines a the people signed up for them and they came back in an hour or so to get them! we used all sorts of recycled fabric (i think it was donated from a thrift store) and made some pretty nifty stuff!

maybe you could gather your friends and make them in a group (like arrange a party or something) and then just pass them out together so you wont feel so shy!
