Chicken Bone + Wire + Hemp + Chain + Jump Rings + Clasp = This Necklace
I'm thinking of dying the hemp a little darker though. Suggestions?

looks really cool, i would totally buy something like this... though i think dying the hemp would kind of take away from the grungy, just-came-out-from-the-earth vibe. but that's just me ^^

thanks! I just wanted the clash between natural and industrial to follow through the whole piece. (wire&bone, chain&hemp)

I'm just a little curious as to why you think it's gross. I'm not saying that's bad or anything. I'm just curious. :)
unless it's a vegan thing. if so I understand.
One question... Did you do anything to the bones before you made the necklace? (other than wash them obviously) :)

contrary to what many websites said, I let them sit in diluted bleach until the left over tissue was removed and then I set them out in the sun to dry and whiten.
