Hello guys, first off I would like to say how threadbangers is sooooo awesome, and how they make the DIY crafts easy.

I have a few questions and I would like your suggestions on this and how to make n such.

1) I just bought a new beanie, a plain black beanie. It looks boring, i want to spice it up a bit and make it unqiue. I bought patches of a skeleton kitty and a bleach kon kon patch. I want to it make look like a mix-match of some sorts. Like the sides longer to make the ears snug. :)

Any suggestions to that? ANYTHING that will give this plain looking beanie a new look :D

2) I just recently ripped my favorite khaki pants. I wonder what i can do with it. I don't want to waste a perfectly good pants just because it's ripped, is there anyway to incorporate this into the beanie? Any tips will help again :).

If you want to make the beanie more snug around the ears you can cut a small triangle in the middle of each side then cut two small triangles out the shorts then stitch the triangles into place.

As for the patches you can just iron them all wherever suites you but, then again beanies stretch.

What I would do if the zipper on the shorts was of my liking I would attach it to the front side of the beanie going up and maybe put a lock on the zipper (so people can't get in my head)
but, I'm weird.

ummm i read a tutorial on cat ears once to make them stand up and such...they used foam to cut/carve out the shape and thenslipped fabric over them they looked way realistic....but for a beanir maybe knitting or something???? good luck!
