A tute for the shirt is now available in the tutorial lab!! Whee!
a couple of weeks ago, my boss at work (subway, ugh) gave me all the extra t-shirts we had left over from our last promotion. :D i originally wanted to use them to make a dress, but when i started cutting the pieces for it, i decided that was a little too ambitious for how sewing-lazy i've been lately xD so instead i made a shirt. :D i went to the trusty GW and picked up some white t-shirts, and the most awesome cherry print pajama pants:

& combined them like so:

the fugly subway shirt became the cute sweetheart yoke, sleeve binding, and hem. the cherry pants were reborn as the puffy sleeves (i seriously have an unhealthy obsession with them...), and the white t-shirt is the main body, and neck binding (obvs, lol).

just a better view of the sleeves/yoke. the red part wraps around to the back, too. :) it's neato.
i'd worn it a couple times when i took these pics, and it needed washed xD sorry about that. it looks way better clean/unwrinkly XD but you get the idea anyway.
this is a hat i crocheted a few months ago.

(camera weirdness in the first picture...)
i wear it when i don't like my hair/pretend to be a fashionista, lol. here's the pattern i used: http://jessicasuzanne.com/craftypants/2007/09/13/pretty-puffs-slouchy-hat-with-pattern/
and completely unrelated, here's a picture of a duct tape rose i made (bored at work one day... why we have red duct tape is beyond me) in a shot glass my friend bought me in paris. photoshop fun :)

that's all XD sorry it's so loooooong :x
