Okay... so here's what I wanna be when I "grow up" (pssh like I'll ever do THAT...)
Please don't laugh... all my friends did XD
...
I want a coffee shop!
W00T!
Not just any old coffee shop either... I want an internet cafe and a place where people can sell stuff, too! So, one part will be cafe, then the interwebz part, and then the shop place thingy part. People can sell stuff that they made like music, clothes, art, movies, books, whatever, and then people can buy that stuff when they come. And maybe it'll have a mini stage where local bands and stuff can perform (if there's enough space).
Sound like a good idea? I was thinking of having it in Orlando or NYC.
But... yeah, I just wanted to post that because ThreadBanger helped me come up with this. And, of course, I'll sell my own stuff in my shop, too :D

I like the idea of the space for bands. That sounds really fun. :)

Forget your friends... Your dream sounds great. Just because it isn't something simple and "normal" like becoming a nurse or something doesn't mean it's stupid. I don't even want to get into everything I've wanted to be in my lifetime.
Oh, and there's a place kinda like that around here... But they just sell vintage clothing. There's a cafe and a stage for bands to play on, though.

OOOH! PUT IT IN ORLANDO! PUT IT IN ORLANDO!
There's frigging nothing here but the Stardust in Winter Park! SO frustrating.
So yeah, put it in Orlando.
And screw what your "friends" think. WE'RE your real friends.

Well, my friends thought it was a great idea, but they thought it was funny at first when I said that I wanted to own a coffeehouse, because just a few days earlier we found out what coffeehouses sell in The Netherlands. XD

The Stardust? What's that, and where? I've never heard of it...

I would so go there! Just had a place nearby like that and it was so awesome! Problem was it was in the French district and they couldn't fund enough billingual staff and ended up closing. Booo! I miss that place. I would love to have a store like yours. ;)

That sounds like a great idea. We have nothing like that in my area. I can't find a store that sells handmade at all, and the coffee shops just sell coffee. Having something to do while you enjoy your coffee (shop, listen to music) would be awesome! I'm sure it would be really successful.

I would totally ship cookies to you for sale! And if you're into baking I would send you recipies.. as I think cakes might spoil a bit while shipping. ^^ It's an AWESOME idea though. Any idea as to the name?

Maybe the name is a bit off, but it was where they did grandma party, if you went. And no, it is most certainly not Starbucks. I didn't get it THAT wrong.
