Name him something obscure and weird sounding. Though Anton is good.

I usually pick names of characters in movies I really like for my dogs...so maybe you can come up with a unique name from a movie you like. But definitely pick a unique name that goes with his personality!
My dogs are named Skylar (Minnie Driver's character in Good Will Hunting) and Dade Murphy (the main character in Hackers).

I suggest you post a picture.
The name for your cat would be Nicko.

I love Hackers! Great movie.
My cats are Q and Z (pronounced Zed) Thoroughly geekish, named for characters in Star Trek and Men in Black.
I'd love to see a pic of your kitten. Mine are both tabby cats. Ones orange and the other one is sandy colored, but he was pink when he was a kitten.
Definitely pick names you like, that you can say quickly in frustration, and that suit your new friend.

Yay kittens!! I also got one last week! (go us.)
I really wanted to name mine Marcle, but my dad's name is Mark, so it would have been too confusing.
Marcle is just too cute of a name.
It's from the movie Howl's Moving Castle. If you haven't seen it, watch it! It's really good and there are other fun names in it.
(I ended up naming my tiny boy Saku.)

Strangely enough, no. This Captain Saku is Canadian I am assuming?
The Saku I used is japanese.
I really liked the meaning of it and the way it sounded. I wasn't naming my kitten after a real person (though I was tempted to....).
What a small world we live in :)

It means "remembrance of the Lord".
I somehow have gotten into the habit of calling my Saku "Coon-Coon" (or "kun-kun"...i dunno. I just say it & haven't decided how to spell is yet).
I'm really not sure why....
He's still my litle reminder to remember the one who gave me such a little cutie, though :)
