June 13. It was originally the 4th, but due to MANY MANY snow days, we have nine more days of *bleep*ing school.

same day...day after labor day
we added 8 min to each day after hurricane isabel a couple yrs ago
so we can have like 3 snow days...even though it never snows here =[

We start in early Septemper like the 4th. but the thing is.. we have tons of vacations.. and three school trips (like to DC, a field day and a dance and stuff like that) in the next two weeks :D

soo. I'm looking at the pros and cons.

how many day do you go this will really see who has it easy because you are supposed to 180 days but my school wants to different so we are going around 200 day now and that means less vacation and holidays

We have like 1 week of school more just because the recess week in October was obligatory by law since this year. Its like they move a week of "summer" vacation and put it in October =/
So unfair.. and I go back to classes in August 15 or something :mad:!!!

i know how you feel, school is adding more a more days on to the school year and taking them from our summer

yeah for us it was either add five more days... or add five more minutes to each day. so we chose the latter. ^_^
we've had one snow day. so I think we're getting out on the 22nd actually. :\

and vacations dont account for much... all short.. just lots..
