~XXXL polo shirt into a cute dress~

Hey everyone! This is my first post here, so I thought I would post one of my favorite reconstruction projects, my pink tennis dress.

This pink dress was made with a vintage tennis dress in mind, and was made for last years South Eastern Theatre Conference's silent auction. The dress started it's life as a mens XXXL pink polo shirt, and was reconstructed into what you see below!

how'd you make it?

I made up my own pattern for this by a mix of draping the shirt on a manikin and then doing a lot of pining/ drawing out the lines with tailors chalk , and some guess work. I do plan on making one for myself sometime soon , and when I do I will gladly post a tutorial :)

Wow, this tread was totally resurrected!
Sadly I do not have the time to post a proper tutorial for this project, I'm about to hit mid terms here at CalArts, and everything is crazy busy! Some time tomorrow I can try to post a short photoshop picture tutorial, but its going to be pretty basic.
