I made matching pockets, but I haven't attached them yet... my mother says it's too much? Would it be?

You could always pin the pockets on first and put it on, see what it looks like. Maybe put up a picture, and get some comments and then decide about the pockets, just an Idea. I really like the shirt the way it is though. Nice job.

awesome job, i think that with such a beautiful shirt, pockets may make it a little busy, and cluttered, which could take away from its awesome design. but it also could depend on where you place the pocket(s)
