I'm working on the hat thingy, the brimmed beanie, and I cant get it right. I'm not using a sweater so I'm using other stretchy shirt material. Like the stuff on polos. It works fine to me, but something happens when I sew the two pieces of material together and when turned inside out it has what looks like bubbles in the material.

So I figure its cuz of the straightness of the sew.

So my first question is, how does one sew on a sewing machine on a curved object.

Seccond, I'm a newb so I'm just wondering if I'm doing anything else wrong.

can you show these "bubbles"?

Yeah, this shouldn't be in this thread....

but, I think if its curved, you cut tiny tiny slits every half inch or inch or so and that is supposed to help you move the fabric better so you dont get those "bubbles".
