how to find events

i can never find events near me until it over, wherever its concerts or convention, mainly people just tell me but the people that befriend me know of nothing, have you ever had friends that you had nothing in common and were narrowminded but they pictured you as somebody your not but they wont stop being friends with you even though it is very boring, but back to topic how do you find out events near you or do you just hear about them from friend

well it depends on what kind of events
if you are looking for a certain band's concerts, I'm sure they have listings on a website.

I have the same problem, no one I hang out with is really interested in the same art diy stuff as i am. So going to the book store to check out crafty books isn't always a top priority when hanging out lol. I think it is way easyer to hear about events and such if you live in a big city or town because they would most likely have flyers or posters up.

yea but not where i live, in baltimore i guess they think nobodys interested in it, so barely anything comes here. they think if you live there you probally listen to rap so most concerts and tours dont come here, but the only excpextion was the vigin festival which i wanted to go to so bad.
