Hmm...I'm pretty new at making stencils and all, so I was just wondering...
Since I don't have any materials and I'm not allowed out of the house (I came home smelling like smoke today cause stupid people at the club wouldn't go outside!)..haha anyway, I don't have anything durable enough to use if I wanted to spray paint a shirt for my friend
Should I try spray painting it anyway?...
Or should I just like... trace it and color it in just in case x)

im not understanding what your saying you don have anything durable for the acuatlly stencil it self? well it depends on how long you want to use it, youll probally get like 2 uses out of a paper stencil compared to a hundred uses with transarenc paper, you could use card board if you have it but it might be harder to cut out

Well, I have like.. this kinda paper-like thing.. but it's slightly thicker
the only thing i can think of that's close to it is photopaper.. haha!
Well, I mean, if you have little parts sticking out (like, little details), would the spray paint seep through or go around the stencil if I use whatever I have as a stencil? (making it look like a blob where it's supposed to be)
or would it just be better to trace and color in with a fabric marker?

if you tape down the stencils iut shouldnt move and make sure the stencil is flat becuase if it is not then it may get under and dont spray paint at a angle just do it straight down so it cant get under the sides
thats what i would do, but then again im not a stencil expert, not even close

I tried photo paper before, using the smoother none absorbent side when spray painting. Worked decently :P

If you're afraid that your stencil material is not very sturdy, start out with a stencil that's not too detailed or structurally insecure.
