Hoody with cut-out shoulders

So...this is a hoodie I sewed last year after a 2 year non-sewing period. I felt inspired so ripped an old dress and a skirt and used the fabric. There are corsette-ish straps on both sides and sleeves. My bf said I had a sleeve fetish - there's always something weird on my sleeves. :D ah well...
I didn't use any patterns by the way. (looks weird on the hanger...)

So... what do you think of it?

Anyway, I love this! I really like the sleeves, they're kind of like 15th centrury mens' sleeves with all the slashiness going on.

totally agree with the medieval thing and i think that i too have a sleeve fetish. if i had a hoodie like that i would wear it everyday. I LOVE IT!!!

hmz...I basically just sewed 24 (if I remember correctly) short straps from the purple fabric, sewed them on to the sleeves and then made 2 longer straps from the black fabric and laced them up like a corsette...
