Yuck. I knew it was going to be Christian, but I loved Rami.. Too much draping, I suppose.

I for one was thrilled to see Christian take it. I was terrified Rami was going to win, and honestly... I was not impressed by the fact that it took him being told about 15 times throughout the season to stop with the same Grecian goddess thing over and over before he finally listened to the judges and did something with a little variety... plus, seeing little Christian working on his line out of that 5' x 10' bedroom (I could relate, lol), versus Rami's already very successful professional studio... I think the kid needed this win more than Rami did. He's already a successful designer, and I *still* liked Christian's designs better. He was just... the most consistent designer all season.

And I agree, I wish Chris would have got into the top 3... he deserved it over Rami...

Okay, I'll stop now.. but, yes, I was happy for Christian. ^_^

But I wanted Jillian to win, even though I knew she had no chance. I wouldn't have minded Rami either, b/c I like draping. But, I agree morluna, it got monotonous after having to listen to the judges saying OVER and OVER to stop with the draping.

I think Christian needs to find his own "voice" when it comes to fashion - he's copying his idols a lot. But, that being said, he really is a technical virtuoso and probably earned the win.

I think if there wasn't a Christian this year, it would have gone to Jillian. I think she's the most imaginative (in a "fashion" sense) of the final 3.

I Loved Rami! I was so dissapointed when christain won. Ruffles and feathers.. I would have even liked to see jillian win. All the collections were beautiful and i know they all have a defenant Carrer in Fashion.

I actually didn't care for Christian's line because the majority of it was the same looks he had been creating throughout the whole season and does he know how to make any other kind of pants other than skin tight ones? 7 of the 12 outfits have the same pair of black pants with minor differences- ie an exposed zipper or a zipper on the leg...

Yeah, Christian's construction skills are out of this world, and it might just be me, but there is no way you could pay me to wear that "formal gown" that literally looks like chicken meets wooly mammoth.

I feel that at least Jillian had diversity to her collection, and I' d kill for that jacket...:rolleyes:

Rami should have won. We could see his construction in the jeans competition, so enough with the draping comments! I LOVED what Jillian made throughout the competition it was cute and quirky, but I don't remember anything now except the fabu jacket. She showed her entire range of mediums and structures.

Why do people like Christian's designs so much. Is it because of his personality? I didn't think it was a personality contest, but I guess it is... In my opinion, Christian makes a lot of black clothing with HUGE shoulders. Very unwearable. I must admit, I loved his jean challenge outfit. Those pants were cute, and I might try to construct some.
