Update on my novel status!

For any of you that might remember, a while back I posted here that I'd finished my novel. Well, I spent some serious time editing and preparing my query letter (which is just agent-speak for a summary/proposal). I found an online writing group that helped me polish up and fix my letter and stuff, and so far I have three agents who are interested in reading the first 50 pages of my manuscript =D! I'm very excited! There are a bunch of other agents I haven't heard from yet. Sometimes no response means a rejection (I've gotten 11 "dear sir"-type of rejections so far too). Keep your fingers and toes crossed! I've been way too nervous and caught up in all of this to even DIY. Let's hope I can make some kickass BOOK COZIES soon!

Yay - okay, I'll stop...but good for you! I've always heard from writers that it's tough - getting "rejected" and all that - so yeah. Don't pull all your hair out when it gets crazy. Not that I'm really worried, but... :D
