Looking for Sewing Machine!

Dose anyone have any sewing machines suggestions I'm looking for a new one, my broke. I don't want one that cost a lot and I want one that works really good. If you could post pictures to see how they look. That would be awsome!

i found a sears kenmore at a thrift store for fifteen bucks. then i learned my mom had a new home from the makers of bernina and so i kinda took hers hostage in my room. look at some thrift stores. they have tons of awesome stuff. they had like 3 more at the thrift store i looked at. but... thrift stores work well...

I got my sewing machine from Aldi (the discount foods store) for $70. They seem to have one for sale once a year. I got mine in November (ish). It has at least 15 stitches, including decorative ones, and a button hole function. It comes with several different attachments for doing zippers, buttons, free motion sewing, and such. The brand name is "Crofton" which is the Aldi brand.

Try excess stores. There's on in town right now, cargo x-s, with decent machines for about fifty bucks. Is there something like that in your town?

You might also try garage sales or thrift stores - a friend's sister got one of those indestructible, portable iron Singers from an MCC store for fifty bucks, and another friend got one of those table-top Singers for about five at a garage sale. Just make sure you have matching bobbins, or know where to get come, and have the person selling it to explain how to thread it if they can.

i just got a new bother at walmart for like 75$ and it works pretty great. it has a hard time when i make messenger bags out of alot of lyers, but thats pretty much it.
