It wasn't difficult at all but I've been crocheting for about 5 years so I think you should have some crocheting experience before you tackle this one.

Thx for the link! I know crochet, but freehand... that would be a new thing to follow a pattern. And I have a good book, so I'm confident that when the time comes, I'll manage...
