Got any fun riddles to share? Post'em here! I'll start. You give your answers out when someone finally gets it right. Ok, here's my riddle:

Not born, but from a Mother's body drawn, I hang until half of me is gone. I sleep in a cave until I grow old, then valued for my hardened gold. What am I?

Yeah, you got it right. Sorry if I wasn't clear, but you post them here. But, since no one else knows it yet, I won't post the answer, so someone else can have a shot.

Is it "cheese"?

Yeah. Make sure to remember to post your own everybody!

New riddle:

My thunder comes before the lightning;
My lightning comes before the clouds;
My rain dries all the land it touches.
What am I?

Let's see an easier one (IMHO):

If a man carried my burden,
He would break his back.
I am not rich,
But I leave silver in my track.
What am I?

I am bad at these, normally, and don't have one! Someone else feel free to post the next one! :)

Okay, an easy one.

I am what rich people need.
What poor people have.
If you eat me you'll die.
I am greater than god.
I am eviler than the devil.

Only one color, but not one size,
stuck at the bottom, yet easily flies,
present in sun, but not in rain,
doing no harm, and feeling no pain.

backward or upside down,
and can still be read from left to right?

Aurora199: NOON :)

Then let's see a similar one. :)

Pronounced as one letter,
And written with three,
Two letters there are,
And two only in me.
I'm double, I'm single,
I'm black, blue, and gray,
I'm read from both ends,
And the same either way.
What am I?

New riddle! A woman was horrified to find a fly in her tea. The waiter took her cup and went into the kitchen and returned with a fresh cup of tea. She shouted, "You brought me the same tea!" How did she know?

saintlike_ontheoutside

Okay, an older one...
Romeo and Juliet are laying dead on the floor.
There is glass, water, and a baseball on the floor.
The window is broken.
How did they die?

My guess would be that either they were both hit by the baseball or they drowned in the water, but I tend to be a bit literal, so neither of those is probably correct.;)

Here's a riddle, it's pretty well known, but I like it:
HOW FAR CAN A DOG RUN INTO THE WOODS?

I have another one that is pretty easy:
IF WIDOWER DIES IN CALIFORNIA CAN HIS WIFE BURY HIM IN MAINE?

Also, I'd like to know how many different answers people can come up with to the old one that goes:
WHAT'S BLACK, WHITE AND RED ALL OVER?

saintlike_ontheoutside

Romeo and Juliet are fish.
Yes, that is correct! They were in a fishtank, baseball hit it and they drowned.

How do fish drown?

Don't they drown by having too much oxygen? Or..something

Drowning is when you're underwater. So, I guess fish would be suffocating.

How do fish drown?
They didn't drown, but they were knocked out of their fish tank. So they died.

His wife couldn't bury him, he's a widower.

Heres a pretty easy one:
A plane crashes on the U.S. Canada border, where do they bury the survivors?

Alright. I know some harder, longer worded ones. But I think this one's cute. It might be a bit easy but whatever.

If there are three cups of sugar and you take one away, how many do you have?
