Crochet Heart?

Hey guys this is my first post! Anyways do any of you know how to chochet a heart? I've tried and seen some videos on youtube, but they come out more like triangles or squares.PLEASE HELP! I want to make some for my friends for Valentines day. Also if you can post any pictures it would be great. :)

However, I'd make a tringle that's about 9 stitches across the top, then ignore the turning row and dc into the 3rd stitch a couple of times, so that you had a half circle on top. Then sl stitch into the 5th stitch (the middle one) on your tringle, then dc a few times into the 7th stitch so that you have another half circle, then sl stitch it to the 9th stitch on you tringle. Then it shouldn't turn out like a triangle.

ch 3, dc into the first chain that you made three times. Turn.
Ch 2, dc twice into the first and last stitch, dc once in all other stitches. Turn.
Repeat the last row until you have 9 stitches.
Dc 5 times into the 3rd stitch, sl st into the 5th stitch, dc 5 times into the 7th st, join to 9th stitch with a sl st.

And then I just did a border around the pointy end in sc. Doing a ch at the pointy bit of the pointy end.
