I just filled a soccer sock up with all sorts of things, chili powder, cinnamon, nesquick, coffe grounds, tea, and cacao powder. tied it up, but it in a cooler, poured hot water in, added the jeans, i'll post pics when they are done.
Not to mention, it smells deliscious in here =]

Nice.
Does anyone know how to make natural dyes like that?I mean what material makes what color.

In one of the blogs on the actual Threadbanger site (not the forum) they have links to a couple of sites which explain what you can use for natural dyes/how to use them.
Edit: I just checked and the links are under Episode 12 on May the 4th (and at the moment it'son page three of the blogs)
Hope that helps.

you can also fold your pants so that the parts you want to have darker are
covered
and let them lie in the sun a day....

Kinda.
Bleaching of colors occurs naturally with sunlight. I got a black&dark blue camouflage jacket about 3 years ago, and it's practically a black and white jacket now.
I'm not sure about the effectiveness of mixing the dyes you're using, though.

I'd say next time, try to stick to one dye, and use more.
Also, you'll probably need a fixative.
