My sister-in-law asked me to make this hat for her child months ago. Well, my nephew has been born and I hadn't gotten around to making the finished product of this hat. Every time I tried it ended up too small. Today I found a nice and easy pattern at :[link] (http://babypatterns.atspace.com/ecaps.html,) that had an adaptation for a 3-month old. The baby is currently a newborn, but since they always ended up small I decided I'll just make it bigger, he can grow into it.
Well, I made it, but I still think it's a bit small. I believe the pattern was meant for stretchy micro-fleece. I used cotton. Oh well. It's still super cute and adorable >3< I might allow her mother to clean up the seams so it fits more comfortably on my nephew's perfect head
About an hour to make.
