Yes, thats right, i wrote ALL FREEKN OVER this blazer with SHARPIE. The stupid labels i tried to use kept coming off
BEGINNING:

BLAZER PATTERN:
1: REMOVE ALL BUTTONS, AND TAGS. store them in a nice zippy if you want to use them later.
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b336/vgclizzrn/Blazer%20pattern%20pics/blazerpattern005.jpg
2: come up with some labels for each piece of the suit(including the lining) BEFORE you start ripping seams, and apply to each part and take pictures as to remember what goes where. I labeled each part with a letter, a title like "front chest", and arrow for which way is up, and then a number for how many of each of that peice i will need to cut out in lining and regular fabric
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b336/vgclizzrn/Blazer%20pattern%20pics/blazerpattern028.jpghttp://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b336/vgclizzrn/Blazer%20pattern%20pics/blazerpattern032.jpghttp://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b336/vgclizzrn/Blazer%20pattern%20pics/blazerpattern036.jpghttp://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b336/vgclizzrn/Blazer%20pattern%20pics/blazerpattern030.jpghttp://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b336/vgclizzrn/Blazer%20pattern%20pics/blazerpattern035.jpg
3: STILL BEFORE YOU START RIPPING SEAMS mark corners and darts and where button holes and buttons go.
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b336/vgclizzrn/Blazer%20pattern%20pics/blazerpattern023.jpghttp://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b336/vgclizzrn/Blazer%20pattern%20pics/blazerpattern025.jpghttp://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b336/vgclizzrn/Blazer%20pattern%20pics/blazerpattern010.jpg
Use the letters of each part to match up edges, like say piece A needs to match up to part G on the top seam, on the top seem of the A piece right a simple G, and on the top seem of the G piece right a simple A. This is not needed, but can help a brain fart. Like so:
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b336/vgclizzrn/Blazer%20pattern%20pics/blazerpattern051.jpghttp://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b336/vgclizzrn/Blazer%20pattern%20pics/blazerpattern052.jpg
4: SLOWLY but carefully remove the lining of the jacket
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b336/vgclizzrn/Blazer%20pattern%20pics/blazerpattern024.jpg
5: Once lining is safely out, take off the part that I labeled "lining front" on one side to use as piece. The rest of the lining can be made from using the other pattern pieces for the outside, with a somewhat bigger seem allowance is all.
6: carefully rip apart outside portion of the blazer, and lake sure to keep the shoulder padding as well for a pattern piece
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b336/vgclizzrn/Blazer%20pattern%20pics/blazerpattern050.jpg
7 VERY IMPORTANT!!! YOU MUST TAKE OUT THE DARTS, THEY ARE WHAT ALLOW YOU TO FIT THE JACKET. SO DO MARK THEM SO YOU HAVE A GOOD PLACE TO START, BUT TAKE THEM OUT SO YOU DON'T HAVE A TINY JACKET ON A SLIGHTLY BIGGER MAN. yes you might have a hole there, but to get a good fitting blazer, the darts need to be done to fit.
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b336/vgclizzrn/Blazer%20pattern%20pics/blazerpattern045.jpg
8:lastly, iron out the seems to make your pattern pieces flat.
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b336/vgclizzrn/Blazer%20pattern%20pics/blazerpattern041.jpg
do this and and you are ready to start cutting out your pattern pieces with the directions written right in front of you. When you do cut out your pattern pieces, make sure to transfer all darts, seem notes, buttons and their corresponding holes to the wrong side of the fabric.
OH
I always think its funny when blazers have "awwdang" pockets.
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b336/vgclizzrn/Blazer%20pattern%20pics/blazerpattern012.jpg
I ripped them out and ironed out the seeming because they were cheesy looking
ANYWAY, don't get mad at me for totally killing the jacket, it was nice, but it only cost me a dollar, and it was about a million years old based on the lame plastic buttons.
goodwill is your friend!
I will soon be making a tutorial on actually putting together the blazer carefully.
Here are all of the pieces I acquired, labeled and ready: A-K (not in order)
