Free time + Sharpies = Fab coat

ok so I bought this coat a couple years ago...always loved it...but people are always like "what's all over your coat" I guess since it was just black and white the graphic nature took over too much and you lost the "roses"
anyway I colored some of them in kinda randomly ballanced?
so what do you think...too much? not enough? should I have left well enough alone?
also I'm not actually that fond of the pink and in hindsight should have gone with red....do you think if I go over the pink with red it'll look ok?

Very creative. I can picture just the black and white and It looks much better now. The red should look okay but you should test it out first just to be sure.

washable? like it'll wash out or it's safe to wash?
since it's a coat I dont' wash it al that often..and it's not a warm coat..just some canvas type material with a liner so it's a spring weight.

it says permanent on the colored ones I have

fading is ok...like I said I only wash this coat like once a year...at the end of it's wearable season...I was just nervous all of a sudden that I'd wash it and be back to black and white!...then all my coloring and buzz would have been for nothing!! (although now I know next time I color somthing with Sharpies to do it outside!)

ok the red over the pink worked out...actually made the red really deep..so I'm happy...cause usually I wear this coat with my turquise sweater and black tweed skirt and Red, cowboy shaped fur lined pointy toed 5" healed boots...man I love those boots!

it looks great. i can imagine it all black and white and could be a little confusing but the colors makes it much brighter and fun.
