Welcome to TB! (I beat everyone. Hoyeah.)

How well does beetroot set, though? Wait, I've still got clothes with beetroot on them. Ignore that.

Answer: That was in the first ep of Threadbanger I ever watched. Rob attacked a pair of jeans with a cheese grater and ran over them in a car. Dye them in something, too. Maybe coffee. Iron on things are good (I usually end up sewing them on). Patches and scraps, studs. Just go nutso. If it'll stay on there, try it. Another awesome thing I saw tonight was a guy had a dark blue patch on his jeans where a pocket should have been. It looked pretty cool.

I cut off designs from my old clothes onces they are worn out or too small.
You could applique some designs on (I think Rob did a shirt that way) as knee or pocket patches.

I also just like running stitches in places like scribbles, in contrasting colours.
