^^^ The funny/sad thing is, my Honors English teacher I had for my sophomore year had a bumper sticker with that quote on her cabinet in the room. What's more conformist than a bumper sticker?

Damn right. That´s why I do not worry about the sewing result, linings and straight seams too much... I´ve even wore things (that people have complemented) that have about 20 safetypins just holding the garment together. And if there are uneven seams or funny wrinkles in my clothes it is trashion.

XD I had a long discussion with my boyfriend about the pattern and pinning thing. Not a big fan of pinning things together to sew them. I pin stuff to the dress form just ...not together.

Of course he's not referring to DIYnesss but for someone who likes to save as much from hitting the trash as possible it works well for me.
