Hey everyone,

Corinne and I are going on vacation at the end of this month. 25 weeks of doing this show and we definitely need a breather. So were asking you guys to take over the show for a week. (not like you dont run it now anyways)
But were talkin about you sending in your best videos and projects ASAP.
Hell you wanna host the show. Send us in some intros and outros, whatever you want. Were looking to compile some episodes a bit early so we can get out of town for a bit so start sendin them in. Cant wait to see what you all can come up with.

I have a question for you Rob. What would be the minimum quality for video to be considered for the show? Right now I only have not-great webcam and cell phone cameras.

lol....far from swimming in cash...more like drowning in debt.
For vacation were going to Nevada out to the Burning Man Festival.
We go every year, its pretty wild. We'll be takin in videos for the next couple of weeks for our vacation episodes. And they can really be of any quality...web cams work just fine for us. Mostly all file types are excepted.
WMV,AVI,MP4,....we really enjoy .MOV's but whatever you got we'll take.
You'll get plenty of pictures as well...were going to do a whole episode about the trip. Cant wait to see all your videos...I;m looking forward to someone dressing up as us and doing a mock show...now thats something i'd like to see.

I'm trying to remember, there's this awesome place that does a once-a-year warehouse sale open to the public! I gotta research it...doing that now...

I was thinking of alternate things like: Go to yard sales, ask around about other people's stash, look at things like old curtains and sheets, that sort of thing. Also, some fabric warehouses sell to the public. That was my gramma's big thing back home - not buying retail, and going to obscure places that nobody else knew about. :D

And, OH! Have you ever been to Devon Avenue in Chicago? I've been meaning to go - SARI FABRIC CHEAP!!!

I love the show and it actyually inspired me to go out and shop for my own stuff and make it odd an unique like me. I'm a big guy so I have a low self esteem about most stuff but I just wanna thank you for showin me in the right direction. I never knew anything about DIY until I saw the show. I was thinking of uploading a tutorial I edited of my girlfriend making a boring lampshade way cooler with fabric we found at the thrift store. It's like 4.5 minutes long. Is that too long for you guys? I've tried to
cut out as much as possible, but I don't think people will necessarily be able to follow along and duplicate the process if I cut out much more information. Is my lampshade tutorial even relevant, anyway? It's DIY fashion, but it's home fashion. Let me know.
