Just finished a screening of this movie. Awesome work by Johnny Depp in this one. Hes got an amazing voice for singing too. Went and picked up a copy earlier too so i'm giving that a listen right now but if you guys get a chance to see this, don't miss out. Its a great movie.

Yeah, I'm dying to see that movie... Always been a big Johnny Depp fan, and Tim Burton just... rawks! Also I enjoy dark (and also morbid^___^) comedies, so this will be simply... I don't have words, you know? The thing that's been bugging me, though, ever since I discovered this movie is that the cinemas in my country doesn't start showing it until January 25th or February 22nd (I really don't know which date...)... I hate those smurfin' norwegian cinemas, dammit!!! I've gone to the official site, though, and listened to Johnny's singing; couldn't be more pleased... As Helena Bonham Carter (Mrs. Lovett) states: His singing is very sexy and beautiful and heartfelt and soulful...
...This is a way too long reply, sorry 'bout that^___________^

Lol thats what a boards for. No need to worry about how long a reply is. All I can say is that the official date here is the 24th I believe but i'm definately going to go see it again. The soundtrack is pretty awesome too so go buy that if its out over there. You won't regret it.

I have conflicting schedules... I'm supposed to go visit family with my mom in Louisiana on opening night, but I'm going to see if she'd like to see it. It's not really her kind of movie, bit I think I can convince her.

I'm excited, I can't wait to go see the movie. I was already hyper that it was another Tim Burton movie with Johnny Depp in it, but when I found out Alan Rickman was in it, I flipped. He's such a versatile actor. Hans in Die Hard, the Medatron in Dogma, and Snape in Harry Potter, i could go on, lol. He's just a fun actor, but I can't wait to hear Johnny Depp sing, I love his voice.

Alan Rickman is pretty awesome. hes prety funny at times though. He's like a diamond in the rough at times with comedy. i love him. But Johnny is my all time fave! I am however slightly attracted to Helena Bonham Carter though. She was good in this movie too.

I've sung and played music all my life, and I've never heard of someone using circular breathing while they sing. Please explain.

too bad its rated r
I know! I'm so sad. I've wanted to see it since before I knew the rating. I usually don't go to rated R movies... but I'm bad and I am going to this one. *is embarassed* don't tell my bishop.
And I feel super bad because I had the missionaries over tonight and they talked about breaking habits like seeing bad movies and listening to bad music... But I don't think I can live with myself if I DON'T see this movie. Gah! I'm a bad Mormon.
P.S. If anyone besides duct tape dude and the other LDS threadbangers don't get some of the things I just said, it's okay... they're LDS (Mormon) things.
