so i went to a concert 3 days ago and bought a tshirt
i asked for a medium because that was the smallest they had and when i got home i noticed they gave me a large.
gosh darn.
so i cut it up and just ended up making it smaller.
but the sleeves seem weird to me.
i dont know if they look ok, or if theres something i can do to them to make it look better.

i'll post a pic as soon as i can :)

p.s.
if anyone watched the new video about the swimsuit
will those measurments fit most people?
just wondering because i might end up making a swimsuit for this summer.

Oh, for the swimsuit the book says it's nearly one size fits all, but if you want it a bit bigger just add an inch on to each measurement.

Since it's a tie-on, the fit's less of an issue.

But at the same time, if you're of more ample proportions (Yay!) you should probably experiment with what kind of support and coverage you need.

hmm... are the sleeves bothering you because they're bigger in proportion to the rest of the shirt? if so, you could try the pinch and pin. i've never tried it on sleeves before, but it might work.

good luck :)

It works on sleeves. What you do is draw the sewing line up from the bottom side seam. When you reach the point where the sleeves attach, turn about 90 degrees and draw it to the end of the t-sleeve. If it's a full-sleeve shirt, then you'd want taper off the sewing line probably at about a third of the sleeve.

Tips: when you make that 90 degree turn, it's best to err on the side of turning too soon (before the sewing line reaches the sleeve-attachment seam) than drawing the line too high and turning too late. Otherwise, you get this weird cavity in the armpit area of the fabric after you sew it up. Also, make sure that the sleeve is flat and the sleeve-attachment seam lines up front and back when you sew so they stay lined up after you're done. Good luck.

the problem with the sleeves was that i just cut them out too much so now i have to wear a shirt under so you wont see my bra X( yeah. i tried making it into a tank top like look? if thats the right description. but if i cut it out anymore i woulda cut out part of the Patricks face, and i didnt want that. other than that i liked the way it turned out, it fits me very well
