I'm still not feeling to well guys, I'm not sure exactly what's wrong but I will probably be going back to the hospital soon. If I can I wanted to post a small tute of no sew leg warmers I made when I was in the hospital last time.
I really hope to be back on more soon so I can show you all the great things I've been making during my illness. A lot of them are handsewn (it's kinda awkward to sew with a machine in the hospital) but they are pretty neat. I even made a sock monkey for my dog. :)
If anyone would like to keep in touch with me while I'm out, you can email me at JuxtaposedPink@gmail.com. I usually check it daily.
I hope everyone has a great holiday season.

:) My boyfriend is going to let me use his laptop so I can be on a bit more. I'm having problems with my camera again so I might just post a sketched tute. Or something.
If anyone is close and wants to drop by I wouldn't mind....it's lonely in here.
They ran some more tests today and think I might have a bad ureter. They need to make sure before they operate though. And while I'm in, at least I get time to draw new designs. If I can figure out my camera I will post them. :)

Oh, jeezt. Just in time for the holidays, too! Well, here's some healthy thoughts your way.
Please don't rush with the tute, focus on staying healthy. OK?
I wonder if they'll let you sew yo-yos when you're recuperating? I bet that'd pass the time really well. Or stringing beads or something. Maybe someone can buy a craft kit on sale so you don't go bonkers while recovering.
Sorry to hear that. I hope you get better soon. :(

I've been working on crocheting some necklaces for my almost mom and sis in-laws. It's not too bad right now, the drugs make me sleepy so that's what I do most of the time.
I got this really awesome little mermaid flat sheet at the Salvation Army last month so I'm also trying to draw things to do with it. I make a drawstring bag out of it already, but I'm not sure what else to make. I was thinking maybe school supply holders.
Also, I can hook up my bf laptop to the TV and watch threadheads on it. It helped when I was working on the crochet flowers. :)
Anyway, right now they think I might have Lupus, which is something everyone in my family has. We lived in Maryvale AZ when I was a baby, and a large number of people have lupus, heart complications and leukemia due to pollution in the water. I don't think they have a specific Lupus test, but hopefully they'll figure it out soon so I can get on the right medication and get out of here.
I will certainly let you guys know. My boyfriend is coming here right after work and he's going to show me how to put the pictures on so hopefully I can get this stuff posted tonight or tomorrow.

Oh, dear. I hear Lupus can really be tiring and draining on the system. I thought they had a specific test? I donno.
At least you can keep yourself entertained in the hospital. That was sweet of the bf to let you borrow his laptop!

As far as I know, there is no one test just a series of tests.
Here is what I googled on it:
There is no single diagnostic test for lupus. There is a screening test called the ANA (anti-nuclear antibody) test which is often checked when a doctor suspects lupus.
Then it went on to talk about that test. I'm pretty sure that's what I did today. I'm supposed to get another test in a few minutes so I'll probably go offline.
My Doctor (his name is 'Halpert' but he says it like Helper, it makes me laugh) said I should be able to go tomorrow since my fever has been down. =) That makes me happy, I am supposed to take a flight out to my mom's house on Sunday for Christmas. Cross your fingers and wish me luck!
