So I go to a school with a uniform requirement (khaki pants, white, gold, or maroon collared t-shirt, and white, gold, maroon sweaters, sweatshirts, etc.). Usually I don't put much effort into dressing for school but in a moment of boredom I decided to reconstruct one of my brothers sweaters from when he attended. It was huge and had to be takin in quite a lot but in the end I got this nifty halter-sweater-vest-type thing. Now I'm thinking of other ways to reconstruct or diy my clothes so that they fit my school dress code

Kinda proud though, it was the first time I'd used my sewing machine in more than two years (and even then I wasn't that great).

You're going to need some kind of online host for those images, we can't see them.

I recommend ImageShack (http://www.imageshack.us) because it's quick, easy, and doesn't require registration.

Or just use the "manage attachments" button to add them as attachments to your post.

kinda sorta, I was looking at that the book via the internet and that was the project they have on the cover (being the procrastinator that I am I haven't actually looked inside of it). I'm not sure what the actual pattern is but I mostly guessed it from what they showed on the cover.

that sucks, but at least you don't have to wear a uniform anymore

Our school is pretty laid back when it comes to uniform enforcement, so long as its the right colors and has a collared shirt underneath and nothing obviously out of code you can get away with it.

I second celebrating the freedom to restructure uniform components. It was explicitly forbidden in the student handbook to alter or hem uniform pieces...really that didn't stop me...
