Okay, so who thought I was saying a bad word when I said "godets"?
Here's your sewing/fashion term for today: I just learned today that godets are the triangular shaped inserts that are added to the bottom of skirts to give them more fullness (and to make them look fancy :) ). I made myself a pattern this morning and I'm hoping to make a skirt with godets out of black satin whenever I get a chance. Hopefully before Christmas. ...I'm just hoping I have enough fabric.
