Sushi tote bag

Yo, I'm Ari, totally new here. I recently got into sewing about 5 months ago. :D

This is the third tote I've made. The other 2 aren't worth posting. :) Excuse the horrible photo quality!

Also, this was my first time using a sewing machine, so the stitches are all over the place. It's still sturdy, though. :3 Comments appreciated!

oh awesome! i love it. it's funny how your pets always tend to lay RIGHT where you're trying to do something.
my cat could care less where i am most of the time. but as soon as i get out fabric.. she's laying all over it...

I painted the sushi design directly on the canvas fabric with acrylic paint, and then went over it with clear nail polish. I did the same for those buttons, which were originally white. Also, the inside of the bag is the same fabric as the handles: dark red with small white flowers. :D!
