I made this skirt with some jeans I got from the thrift store for $3. I tried the threadbanger skirt from jeans tute, but loosened it in the hips and lengthened it. You could use any fabric in the center. I ripped all the leg seams and sewed them back together with a zig-zag stitch for a frayed look, but you could leave them alone for a neater look. I hope the pic works. I posted this on craftster and am trying to use the same pic.

I guess that crafster doesn't let you post pics from there onto other sites?

Anyway - good job! I like the idea of using 2 pairs of jeans to keep the length. Also, great duct tape dress form!

Love this one too. Looks like one my friend has and I know she shelled out big bucks for her. She liked high end clothes. I like the "distressed" edges. Looks very pricey.

I also love the little details in the background of photos. I noticed the pink/blue Cinderella Teapot first. ...and then the roll of TP. LOL!

(Do you have a dog by any chance? It looks like a roll of TP that a doggie played with.)

lol! I actually cropped out the tp, but then uploaded the unedited pic! I have a cat and she loves tp!
