Little Sister's B-Day gift: Necklace and T-shirt

Here are the gifts I made for my sister for her birthday! The necklace is a double strand necklace (one chain and one beads that came from a necklace from goodwill) and a smirnoff bottle cap. The t-shirt came from goodwill, and I screen printed a guitar on it and made a new tag for the inside.

She loved the shirt, and she said that she wants more caps for the necklace. I told her that I'll make them for her and then give them to her when i'm home for break!

Hahah! Ya, my only stipulation that I was given was "They have to be MY kind of cute, not YOUR kind of cute" (my sisters words, not mine!)

She and I have very different styles, so really, part of the simplicity came in the face that I didn't want to make anything that I wasn't POSITIVE that she would like!! Hence the ONE cap, instead of lots... but then she said she wanted lots... so now that I know she approves, i can go a bit more overboard! Haha...

At least I'm not the only one who loves Smirnoff caps! They're so pretty! *o* I currently have a baggy full of them from recent parties, lol. I'm hoping to make a pair of earrings for a friend.
