Can anyone help me make a pattern for this http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v142/demon_vamp/untitled.jpg
But for a male, it's from Blade Trinity. The arms zip down the top and hang under the arm agains the body. I thought it'd be simple but it's got me doing loops

an idea could be helped watching the hoodie making episode cause she uses templates...just break it down and don't thik of it as a whole...like its two items of clothing isn't it>? or is the under attached to the top...?
I'd say make the back which will be plain then make two front parts (this is the vest if it were seperate) but add the smaller black parts and sew them over the top.

Thanks that sounds like a good idea. I'll start on that today.

That sounds like a good idea. Maybe you can build it off tracing a long-sleeved shirt you already have onto newspaper. Once you trace it, you can measure out maybe 1/2" to 1" from that traced line. Just mark a dot, then connect the dots. The space between the traced line to the "connect the dots" line is the "seam allowance." That's the part where you'll be sewing.
Hope this helps a little!
