Fabulous! How did you make the apple? Did you have a mold or did you shape it with yer fingers?

Damn. Now my hands are itching for a Gameboy. Schucks.

I can see how it looked like a tooth. Very nice job though!! Just a little more practice with evening out the blocks and it'll look very professional. ^^

The apple is very cute! Maybe if you used a plastic ruler to help shape the tetris blocks next time, they will look more "square" and less finger-print-y? Just thinking out loud, just a suggestion.

If you wanted to make more (and sell them) you could think about making a mold for each shape so you can get a consistent width as well. Or maybe just cookie cutter them possibly.

Hmmmm. Now I want to make tetris jewelery.

yeha I could do with getting rid of finger prints but it is hard when you have to handle it lots...I'm not too keen on molds
I was using graph paper underneath the clay but cutting whilst sitting doesn't help the shape and I had to squash any ridgey bits in but I think I'll make it using my fingers next time by making small cubes and see how that turns out
htink I'll make a few more mini things when I can be bothered lifting my bum for this cushion.....

Sooooo...what's new....nothing's new its retro! My tiny lil SNES pad, here's a close up image and how big it is to my hand....the detail was not easy!

Of course they need a slight lick of paint because some areas were hard to reach...and because its water based acrylics (who ever bloody thought of that idea needs to be shot) they need recoating *sigh* so hard.....

A helpful tip someone once gave me for smoothing out fingerprints is to lightly rub the unbaked piece with a Q-tip moistened in mineral oil.

I <3 the necklace!!
