A Stereolab CD from a yard sale for Breast Cancer Research donations.

The funny/stupid thing is? I liked Stereolab but didn't know it. They played it on college radio all the time years ago - but none of the DJ's ever said the band names. (Which is dumb, now that I think about it.) So, I guess I love Stereolab.

The last CD I "acquired" was the new Thrills album. Really good tunes. the last CD I bought was The Dark Romantics. They're on Myspace. Check 'em. I'm thinking about buying the re-release of The Henchmen today. Can't remember which album it is exactly. Jack White plays guitar on it. Cool stuffins, I say.

The last CD I bought was a Styx 2-CD collection called "Gold" ^^ I love it. It was marked down for the price of one CD. Good job me! *dances*

but i think the last one i got was "the cookbook" by missy elliott...
and my dad got me a bunch of really bad russian rap LOL its so funny to listen to XD... the music sux i nall of them, but one has realyl beautiful words (none of it is the usual sex and drugs and whatever... it's actually really poetic and philosophical... blame my dad for my love of deep thinking shaddup D:)


but i REALLY wanted some j-rock CDs (yea wat?) but my dad couldnt find any when he went to russia~

i didn't buy it, but the last cd i got was the juno soundtrack :D :D my friend gave it to me :) the last dvd i bought was the 6th season of scrubs. i'm about a third of the way through it :)

CD - For Your Pleasure, Roxy Music.

^^^This was one of the first "grown up" records I ever heard. I must have been 2 1/2 years old, and it scared the crap outa me. I keep seeking out tunes my cool aunt blasted when she was 19, and I was 2 or 3. She was into glam rock at the time, it was before her punk phase. If you ever saw Velvet Goldmine, that was the kind of music my aunt listened to at the time. 1974-1976 was soooo wierd. Boys in makeup were pretty radical at the time. I still think it's a fabulous idea, and can't figure out why it didn't take off.

DVD - Used copy of Sofia Copolla's Marie Antoinette. For the costumes, of course! And the 80's music. It was only $9.99 and I think only one part was slightly jumpy. Hollywood Video is selling a lot of pre-played DVD's right now.

Last DVD's I bought were Ferngully and Fifth Harry Potter. I was disappointed with the Harry Potter. They were Christmas gifts for my kids. Last DVD I bought for myself was Daywatch. It was also disappointing. The Last CD I downloaded off of Itunes was the Bravery and Nine Inch Nails Year Zero.
