The last movie I saw was Transformers. It was my second time seeing it.
Thank God I didn't have to sit through another disappointing remake of something from my childhood. It totally kicked ass.
If only I could find a man with the same moral compass as Optimus Prime. Le sigh....
Tonight...The Simpsons.

but i saw it yesterday so yea..
Ready to Wed.
It was alright.. nothing new. Robin Williams was kinda toned-down, which was a good thing. Good movie to bring a girl to, but it is worth waiting for it to come to video.

Watched IT yesterday for the first time since I was like 11.
So scary then. So funny now. It's hard to be scared when I know Pennywise is Dr. Frank-N-Furter. Although I was a little edgy when I took a shower today.
Then I watched Flirting With Disaster. Ben Stiler when his bumbling shtick wasn't annoying. An excellent slow decline into absolute absurdity.

Last new movie I watched was Hairspray! I dressed up in 60's garb, brought hairspray can and comb to the theaters and gave masks of all the characters in the movie for my friend and I to wear...if you can't tell I'm a hairspray fanatic... O_o

guessing you wanted to see Daniel all naked in that theatre performance he did lool
last movie I watched....was.... well most of this low bidget film called 'contagious'...guess what it is? just a cheaper cornier version of outbreak! tsk!
I want to watch transformers, I mean non corny sounds great but they put humans too much into the storyline....very unkeen, and no offence but the usual teenage american boy and girl gimmick is old! or army gimick is old but you do expect to see the army........ just...battle! BATTLE! Autobots! TRANSFORM!
Last movie I just saw.... ohhh, just some little thing called THE SIMPSONS!
Best. movie. ever.
It more than made up for the past three or so years of subpar television. Go see it now.

He finds a couple livin in his appartment there. and he connects with the young Syrian man Tarek and forms a close bond with him....fighting to get him released from prison when hes wrongly suspected of jumpin the barrier on the subway and found to be an illegal alien....I wont give away anymore of the plot but I highly recommend this movie!

I thought it was going to be insanely stupid, but it was amazing. If you haven't seen it yet, it's really crude, but it's hilarious and worth the $8. I left the theater with soar cheeks, and I normally don't laugh much in movies.

Is there such a thing as Moderately Genderqueer? Donna's femmier than I am. Um, wait, I'm not that femmy.
My favorite recent movie is Happy-Go-Lucky - I LOVE Poppy! And there's CRAFTING!!! in the movie! (well, kid's crafts, you'll see) The movie's deeper than you'd think. I think a lot of middle-aged white male movie reviewers didn't get it. This rates right up there with Harold and Maude for me.
Most Recent Movie: The Bridge. It's about people who jumped off the Golden Gate Bridge in 2004. It interviews the relatives of the people, witnesses to the jumpers...and one very lucky survivor. It's been controversial b/c some ppl think it glorifies suicide, but I don't think that it does at all. It's pretty short for a documentary, but really well-done. I think it's also controversial b/c it films the people jumping. Well, yeah, probably.

I thought it was good, but not good enough to make it into my list of favorite movies. Johnny Depp, like usual, doesn't disappoint. My dad was telling me about it before-hand because its based in the 1930's when John Dillinger (sp?) & Baby Face Nelson were on the loose. So it was slightly historical, but you didn't really learn anything. I loved it, it was interesting. But some of it wasn't historically accurate, to my dad's disappointment.

It's an age old makeup trick in theater and film, you darken the eyebrows (in the case of blonds, in her case they just leave them as is) & the lips and it gives the illusion that her skin and hair are more even more pale than they really are.

I CAN NOT wait for this :D
I love Anne Hathaway!
Dont'cha think it's a little weird they left her eyebrows brown?
No.
She's looks awesome that way.
Besides, I don't know of anyone who dyes their eyebrows.
My friend Kitty shaves them off and draws them on.
It's super tacky, I know, but she has to shave her face anyway, so it's not as tacky as it would be if she only shaved the eyebrows.

Well im not holding my breath on this one. only because there was another version of the movie that got blown out of the water because of tim burton which would have been a much more interesting version if you ask me. there was a pc game called american mcgees alice. If anybody here knows of the game and played or seen it. they can tell you it was amazing on the story and the violence factor was like 22 on a scale of 1-10. it takes place 15 yrs after alice comes back from wonderland and alice has spent years in a mental institute. after the loss of her parents in a fire.

I saw 300, Transformers (the first one), & Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince this week.
Although I saw Harry Potter in a movie theatre that sucked because: A.) they labled the auditorium as the wrong movie so we weren't sure if we were in the right place; B.) they forgot to switch the movies the night before & we were watching the wrong movie's previews; and C.) we still had to watch the Harry Potter previews.
It was 2.5 hours of character development & 3 minutes of (SPOILER ALERT!) Dumbledore dying, but I still enjoyed it.
I think I'll see I Love You Beth Cooper tonight.

I saw Harry Potter 3, 4, and 5
And I saw Passengers on Friday. It's a movie that went straight to DVD. The first 3/4 of the movie, we were like, why didn't this get to theaters? and then the ending really sucked, so we were like oohhhhh.

Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead.
Very talky, but HILARIOUS. It basically covers what happens between Rosencrantz and Guildenstern during the events of Hamlet. Because they're never really fleshed out in the original play, they have almost no memory of who they are in this story. They just know that they were SENT FOR.
"For a handful of coin I happen to have a private and uncut performance of "The Rape of the Sabine Women," or rather woman, or rather Alfred, and for eight you can participate."
Rosencrantz: Do you think Death could possibly be a boat?
Guildenstern: No, no, no... Death is "not." Death isn't. Take my meaning? Death is the ultimate negative. Not-being. You can't not be on a boat.
Rosencrantz: I've frequently not been on boats.
Guildenstern: No, no... What you've been is not on boats.

You're being really generous to that movie... I was massively disappointed. The horrible phoned in explanation for Mandy Patinkin's choice not to return for the movie. The pathetic way they just dumbed down the character of Daisy (who had finally seen some good development by the end of Season 2) because the replacement actress they got couldn't act her way out of a wet paper bag. The lack of any reference to previous cliffhangers/unanswered questions (such as the way they were just beginning to shed some light on gravelings, or what happened to Betty when she jumped into that guy's light in Season 1... which we were led to believe would be answered in Season 3), choosing instead to tell a pretty much unrelated story in order to sucker the fans out of money. Not that it didn't have it's moments, they were just WAY too few and far between.

Yeah, your right! But I have a knack for looking at things objectively, so it was just okay. (But yes my biggest grip was the Daisy thing, man did that girl need to be hit.) I think they were hoping to get back on TV and treated it like it was the season opener, they should have thought more about the actual story and less about getting back on TV.

It was okay, a little confusing (thank god I knew all the facts beforehand).
pretty random too, I mean, what does Johnny Depp (dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow) have to do with The Clash?
But it was thorough. It included info about when he was a hippie, his time in the 101ers, and his post-Clash life (disappearing and such).
Might watch it again. Might not. I'm on the fence.

the movie has NOTHING to do with the series. in fact, it's a completely different story..int he series it's two twin sisters fighting against each other, and in the movie it's mother vs daughter and it's completely different..i don't quite understand why..the series was awesome!

The series came out before the live action film that was just released (which I haven't seen yet), but the live action is based directly on the original Blood: The Last Vampire, which came out in Japan in 2000. Blood+ first aired in 2005 (or possibly late 2004, I don't exactly remember cause that was a real tough time for me) in Japan. I'm not sure what the similarities are supposed to be, since I've only seen one episode of Blood+, but I know it's done by some of the same production staff and they claim it's the same "world" but an alternate version of it.

Last movie I saw was meet the robinsons after like one million times (my kids like it what can I say)
its cute and funny
I recommend it for young viewers (of mind and soul)
Last new movie I saw was Transformers 2 the revenge of the fallen
I dont go to the movies I buy them when they come out...I like to have a nice dinner when watching them....plus I have a big screen (52in) TV that I bought at a garage sale for $50 (great buy).
The movie was well done for a sequel...I like fantasy and I watched transformers religiously after school with my brother right after GI joe. I loved that they brought in some new autobots and decepticons form the past (not seen in the last movie). The love stry is not really what I looked forward to since it wasnt original, but what can I say, what sales movies better than sex?

Yea, creepy is probably the best way to describe that movie. It was normal low budget but it wasn't all that bad, just not one of my favorites. But yes it was creepy!

I had never seen it before (it bugs me how I could overlook it), and then by best friend kidnapped me into seeing it a couple of days ago. I simply LOVE that movie! I can't wait to see the second! :D:D

We went to see that last week. I'm not big on zombie movies, but that one was damn good.
Bonus: The guy my boyfriend interns under did some of the makeup and got to snag some movie props (hookah, bag full of cool guns).
Inside Info: The Ghostbusters scene was completely impromptu and "Bill's house" is actually in GA.

this is one of my favourite movies. Me and my best friend quote it all the time! "this is TYPICAL!"

We were going to make our halloween costumes based on the ones they wear to the party, but we aren't gonna have enough time.

If your talking about the new one it was not underrated, it was a bad remake.

If your talking about the new one it was not underrated, it was a bad remake. It's a marmite film. But the brave camera angles redeem it in my opinion.

Repo! The Genetic Opera
What can I say... it's value as a story? Alright, but not really gripping for anyone over 12.
The music? (it's a musical after all) Some some were great others... felt like they should just have been left as simple, spoken dialogue.
The movie as a source of inspiration...? Amazing. Truly, utterly fantastic. Hilariously beautiful. That I have the same boots as the main character doesn't hurt either.
I've already started sewing stuff inspired from the movie.
