Here's the thing, I never really shop for myself [clothes/accessory/makeup/jewelry] When ever I have $$ to spare, the first thing I want to buy are crafting supplies. I have so many ideas in my head that I start a project, and the second I put that down, I start another, that leaves me with 734537458 unfinished projects :( I have supplies to make rings, bows, necklaces, scarves, beanies, cosmetic pouches, clothing, body jewelry & hair/dread extensions, but I just can't finish a damn project! it's so frustrating.

My working environment might be one of the reasons why I can't work, we moved to a much smaller room of the house, leaving my supplies boxed up in the closet & bagged up under the bed. With the amount of supplies I have I NEED a room to myself. Heart & I were planning to buy a home from our settlement $$ but it turns out we're not getting enough $$ :( So we'll be stuck here for a while.

I know I'm not the only crafter with this dilemma, the point of the thread is to hopefully get the guild going again, we have been doing nothing lately, & when we have a project, not all of us do it [not having my autumn project makes me guilty of this too] The guild is one of the reasons I finish a project, because I know I have to finish it. I realize that we're all really busy right now, but if we don't do anything about this, then I don't see the point of keeping the guild open, & that makes me sad :\

Does anyone have any thoughts on how to improve??

Oh my sweet talented Bio! Your just gushing with so much talent that it's hard to keep consentrated on one project. ;)
I've been there! LOL!
Since you do have a store, and tons of talent, I suggest or better/ I'll tell you what I did. But it really sucks that you have no space now to sew. :(

Get organized sweety!
Write down the projects you would love to make USING the supplys you ALLREADY HAVE.
Since you have TONS of supplys, start (try) making 3-4 projects of the same design and add them to your shop!
But write everything down and put in order in which you can't wait to start!
Tell yourself "Im a proffessional designer and I want to be sucessfull in my creations!"
My design teacher would say this to us (but in Spanish LOL):)

I'm doing this too, even tho it's hard when I get sick and you have work.
I believe in you sweety and I know you can do it!!

Oh...and when you get custom orders, do those first then get back to your list. ;) sorry for the long reply. ;)

Thanks Tany! that's a fantastic Idea, just last night I caught myself listing down supplies to make soap, but I've decided to hold off until I finish making all my accessories & scarves. :) Because I don't want to end up with another awesome project in mind & get shoved under the bed because I have no room to make it yet :\ Besides I still have two tattoos to design! [for Heart & I] Thanks again!!! I'll make that list ASAP!

This is great advice!! I'm going to sit down and do that this evening; one list for the shop, one list for Christmas gifts.

As far as guild activity goes... I wonder if the new show R & C mentioned is the viewer show? I hope so! If it is, they'll probably use the stuff Shilyn sent them months ago... and the guild can do more for it. :)

Aww..Your welcome Bio! Yeah, I actually have a medium size notebook that has all my lists. Its so much easier for me. Right now on my list has to cut all my handbags...done.
ANd I do have another list for xmas Addie, I'm on #2 right now...so I'm still good.
With house dutys and Jr and Seven, well sometimes its hard to keep on my list.
But I can understand having no space.....it actually drains your inspo big time. *hug*
Luck luck sweetys......I'm glad the list idea could work for you.

It does for me!!:)

Yeah that's great. I have like 6 scarves I need to finish knitting, including one I'm making for my boyfriend when he goes up to Vancouver in January. Hopefully I can juggle school and work and crafting to get it done.
