Woohoo! Finally got my Transformers bag done! Made it way too big to be a regular "purse", but it can carry all my stuff like water bottles and books.

I used Kate's zipper tutorial (http://www.threadbanger.com/episode/TH_20071012) (Thanks Kate! Still difficult for me to work with, blah.) and TomSawyer's messenger bag tutorial (http://forum.threadbanger.com/showthread.php?t=1280) (the best bag tutorial out there!), modified to create this bag.

I got it lined with an interesting fabric I had lying around and gave it two pockets!

This is going to become my "going places and need a lot of junk" bag.

LJ, zipper skills? ahahahahaha! I laugh at myself. It was a mess. I'm going to keep trying though. Kate's method seems to work a whole lot better than my other way of doing things.

Meg, the picture was already on the shirt when I bought it from Goodwill. I was disappointed because it's just an iron-on transfer looking thing, so definitely better for a bag and not a shirt.

Ah, okay. I only look at the pictures, so I didn't read the relevant bit if it existed.

It'd make a good easy knitting pattern.

Please don't call me Meg ever again.

Yea, that looks good. I gave up on mainstream fashion when I walked into the store and saw a shirt. It was a regular shirt with a iron-on patch. It was priced for like $45. I used to make shirts like that on my own for $10 each. Like $7 for a pack of iron on sheet (with like 10 in the box) and a shirt.

I'm a decepticon fan myself, particularly Starscream.

see then that bag fits perfectly! I personaly love Bumble Bee on the autobots side. But I do admit Starscream is pretty rad, probably the only Decepticon I like :)
