While recently sewing a vest I accidentally sliced about an inch into a corner of the lining while clipping a corner seam. It wasn't going to get hidden in a seam either, it was on the side... I was slightly mortified, then my brain started cranking on how to fix it.

Profanity ensued. A solution followed ;)

I snipped a patch from the lining scraps, sandwiched some Stitch Witchery in between the WRONG SIDE of the accidentally cut area and the patch and fused. Then I trimmed away the excess of the patch. Yay! Stitch Witchery is fantastic stuff... I don't use it for its intended use (basting seams and hems), I manage to find all sorts of weird uses for it instead.

Hope this helps someone!
